KESTRAMAZING!

To take a slight break from the olympics. Guess what I saw today/? First a little backstory. It was blizzarding like crazy. And lo I saw an errant AMERICAN KESTREL in this location

Cool right? There are always RANDOM BIRD OF PREY here when the weather is wild. For example a monstrous red-tailed hawk I saw one day during snow. Quite exciting

ANTI TWIZZLE campaign

Here is a subject you may know because I complained about it 4 years ago. Its called the Twizzle. and it even has a definition. This is more against ice dancing and how it embodies wackness in the form of twizzels and of course in HYPER THEatrical costuming and Imperialized Exoticisms as seen here.

Now since when did theater freaks get to have an olympic event. I can think of a few olympic sports that are not represented and I would Personally (THATS RIGHT ME PERSON:ROCKY) vouch that they would be FAR far far FAR FAR FAR far far MORE MUCH more better than icedancing. ANd here ladies and gentlemen are the sports which might replace icedancing. you choose.

BIRDWATCHING
: a hell of a lot more exciting.
Ping pong on ice
Icedancing except ALL of the dancers go at the same time and have permission to roller derby each other
Um.. walking? laser tag? axethrowing or any of the lumberjack sports? HECK anything is better than these TWIZZLES

flannel, polo, what's next?

just a brief note here on sporting fashion. I tired to check out CURLING to learn something new, the sliding release move was nice but the fashion in the ladies match germany v. russia was not nice. Like this:

bad polo shirts did not help convince me this was a legit sport (KOJAK)

OLymipc Fashionista #3 the "morals" edition

THERE is a BIG debate going on_)()+_______...>>>>>>>>
AND I CAN COMMENT ON IT becuase I am an AMERICAN and I CONTRIBUTE TO this very important BloG_. Its a debate that I KNOW
"ALL 2 WeLL"
and its about TIGHT pants. Now you may be pleased to know that i have just purchased my FIRST pair of tite pants and(BOY are they TIGHT). But look- its so late in the game that no one even notices!!! none of my close personal homeboys or homegirls notice. THEY don't say "My those pants are slender" they just ACT like its all NORMAL. Cuz. it is. I am NOT BREAKING THE MOLD. Now.. take this Slender and tite pants and put them on a snow boarder in the olympics and you think no one is going to notice?

Wrong. This dude noticed and he VOICED his moral outrage as he rightly should!! Because you see I agree. When I knowboard, or snowboard MY PANTS "R" huge@huge.com.

OK finally there is a dude- DALE begg smith who got the SILVER in the mogul ski run yeserday. HE IS SO FAR THE COOLEST. why?? because he does not sell out to sponsors/ he has his own private money and where does it come from? He has an INTERNET SPAM compnay HA! true its true. how awesome is that and WHO IS TO SAY THAT IT IS worse than HAVING "Cor0porations" define him!

Olmypics fashion report2

I was also able to catch the ceremonies thanks to a some friends with the HD. If anyone would like to review the outfits there is a really good resource here: /www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/02/13/olympics-opening-ceremony_n_461130.html

Here are Kojak's thoughts: Azeriebajain were the first to impress with their "pantalones extremas" but I was not into the furry hat.

Bermuda had shorts, cool but a little too gimicky.

I agree that Monaco was pretty sweet. The consensus in our group was "James Bond villains"

Czeck got cut off on TV but upon further review I have to say they had a sweet modern style.

Finland was similar but was ruined by one guy rocking really bad light denim.

The end of the alphabet was generally weak, USA bad

O-ymPIC Fashion report #1

the crisis was averted. i plugged in my internet cable to my TV. Boy I hope the olmpics are all they are craked up to be and don't dissapoint........

NOW FOR ROCKY OLYMPIC FASHION REPORT
Last nite we saw a limited number of nations because olympics of the winter mean COLD and there are lots of nations out there that are not cold. But often time they send one LONE man or woman to represent. For example Jamaica, Pakistan, Ethiopia. I had two special notes last night FOR ME:: the big winners and the highest gold medal count in terms of fashion after our opening day was... MONACO. yes Monaco had fablulos sweaters and little scarves. I am going to give the silver medal to germany cuz, although their jackets were "TECHED" out they were pretty cool. and third place goes to mongolia, because their flagbearer got comments my lady friend
and thats ROCKY WITH THE OLYMPIC FAHIOSN REPORT!!!!

tv no useless?

As you may as well know the OLYMPICS= 2010 are starting tonight. And that leaves me.... you guessed it!!!!!! WANTING TO WATCH THEM. now I don't know about you but I have a regular TV. it is not HD. So basically--- can I even watch it any more? This is a question for everyone out there to help me with because I don't know. I DO KNOW that things have supposedly been digitized and now one cannot(?) capture Television signals through the air with an antennae?????? Or could I. I see videos on YOutube about how to make your own HD antena, but this is irrelevent to me because I have SD or STANDARD DEFINITION OF TEVELISTION SCREEN. Most of the interenetweb tells me WATCH online. well, ok, but is this SKetCHY()()(?()()()

embattled by maladies

Last week I busted my lip and had to talk with a lisp like thisssssssssss
I also punctured my heel with a worn out / defective soccer cleat but that healed pretty quick and thankfully no lock jaw :-{}
Today, my throat is sore "MAL A LA GORGE" if I recall my french 101.

As for your "breaking technology" image of the day, you may have seen this elswhere but I think it's worthy of a cross post:

Kitty cat was also struggling but has bounced back real quick "9 lives" style!
